Leroy Bellet is a 22-year-old surf photographer from southern New South Wales, Australia. Inspired by a childhood spent in the sea, his passion is travelling the world to portray a deep respect and appreciation for the ocean through photography. He is most well-known for his 'trail' images, captured while riding waves at some of the world's most renowned surf-breaks including the infamous 'Teahupoo'.
Bellet's work reached the international-stage in 2015 when his initial trail images graced the covers of several of the world's largest surf publications. The following year he took home the Nikon 'Surf Photo of The Year' award. In 2019 he has just released his follow-up body of work. The story behind it is told in the RedBull documentary 'Chasing The Shot'.
